Disease pressures were prevented from start to finish. After first application of ACF-SR, a multitude of crop benefits were identified. Crop was 100% organically grown with only the use of ACF-SR. No detection of powdery mildew up to Sept 1.
We treated one vineyard with ACF and the other was treated with our usual products, in the treated vineyard we found almost no powdery mildew while in the other vineyard it was pretty standard with a bit of mildew throughout.
The product performed well through the drought and the service was excellent.
In our first year of applying ACF bacteria, we have noticeable results in our 8500 acres of peas, barley and canola. We completed a trial on our potatoes. We applied ACF-SR on a patch of alkali soil that had very poor productivity and would normally grow very little. After applying ACF-SR early in the season we saw very positive results in the improved production of potatoes. We were able to grow a healthy, productive crop!
Healthier plants within the treated block were also associated with reduced sprays, higher level of nutrition and minimal sour rot and/or bunch rot. Reducing the need for spraying is the biggest draw for ACF-SR application.
